Expanding on the sounds explored on his previous releases,
Disintegration pushes the levels of intensity to new heights,

formidable power and depth. With it's enormous washes of stormy
drones and billowing, multi-layered atmospheres, these are
tracks that grow and build to such a degree they seem to
collapse and erode under their own weight, strewing particles
into a vast horizon and creating a broad panorama of ever
changing desert colored hues.
A completely enveloping and engulfing release, this is dark
ambient on a massive scale, something Terra Sancta seems to have
a knack for creating and something few do so well.

"The Great Beast Speaks" collects early 20th century recordings of Aleister Crowley. The claim that this collection features every Crowley recording in existence is false. Though they are very few in number, there are Crowley recordings which aren't featured on this album. Opinions vary on the year that this was recorded, but most experts agree that it was recorded circa 1920, which would have made Crowley close to 45 years old at the time. These were originally recorded on wax cylinders, and later digitally transferred. The quality is still very poor despite the digital transfer, but if you want to hear Crowley this is the only option that you have.

Sonorous complexity, ritualist drones, some of the best Isolationist-ambient we've carried in a long time! This is heart-chilling work that picks up the torch where something like Lustmord or Lull left off. Little known Australian artist G. Good has a masterful sense of where to place and interrupt textures, tones are voluminous, swelling and ancient, a darkly beautiful tension lasting for long periods but not nearly long enough for the listener. Three tracks seem to mix an almost Steve Roach-style desert/naturalist outlook with malevolent, ancient death-ambient. Really good stuff. For those of you that wait for the best in dark-ambient a la Lull, Final or Lustmord, you have a new one to sink into now.
"Aeon" is 4 tracks and 50 minutes of, cold as ice on a can of Fosters lager and blacker than a Goths eye shadow, ambient music par excellence. Working on the premise that for these types of soundscapes to fully integrate with the listener, to draw him / her / girlieboy whatever into the other worldly realms, then the music must be all encompassing and powerful. The sounds generated should have just the right degree of prevailing evil malevolent intent whilst expanding and floating outwardly to the nether regions. It should be subliminal, with hidden sounds almost unperceivable to the ear, and yet have the clarity to shine through the dense smog to register intimately. The music should bounce erratically off hidden cavernous walls and be claustrophobic at the same time. "Aeon" achieves all this and then some more. Sonically as bleak as a Dickens novel set in winter Terra Sancta sets into music what Charles managed to convey with words. Using a palette of dark spatial electronics the music is as vast and uncompromising as the wildest Australian outback.
The Swedish musician Ulf Söderberg has previously released two solo albums and made music to exhibitions and museums. "Cathedron" is his first album under the name Sephiroth, and it is also the first album he has released on Swedish experimental label Cold Meat Industry.
Its hard to find any recording whose strange, dark and frankly demonic amospheres compare to Sleep Chamber's 'Sex Magick Ritual'. This album is a work of dark art.

This is an absolutely exquisite compilation from the Live Bait Recording Foundation with mounds of excellent music. From minimalistic deathscapes, to chilling experimental-ambient, to low-grinding death industrial, to all out noise, this is definitely a genre-defining release. It seems like most comps like to flow from one form of music to another, which isn't a bad thing, but this one just throws it all at you providing plenty of variety from track to track. If you're in need of some underground experimental work and industrial in the old-school sense, this is definitely for you. Limited to 100 pieces.

Tzolk'in is a collaboration project between Sal-Ocin (Empusae) and Gwenn Trémorin (Flint Glass), inspired by Mayan mythology and the ritual calendar Tzolk'in. As their passion and knowledge grew, a ritual, mythical soundtrack emerged. The music has elements of ambient, industrial, melancholic sadness and of course elaborated rhythms to enhance the atmos-fears.

The series begins with Acrybia, a new project of Shadock, creator of the project Arkham. This time Shadock dives deep into industrial secrets with grand accent on ritualism, magic and Crowley's rites which is presented in music by delicate drones and minimalism but without exaggeration.

This release features the Voodoo Drums of Haiti and was recorded by Soul Jazz Records in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.Voodoo is the alive and thriving African-derived religion in Haiti and this music is a contemporary recording of the musical rhythms of Voodoo. Voodoo is at the heart of all African music in the new world. That is to say it is the link between the music of Nigeria and the music of Cuba's Afro-Cuban music (Salsa and Santeria) and Brasil's African based musics (Samba and Candomble). The music of Voodoo is based around complex African rhythms. When played at Voodoo cerimonies these drums bring down the spirits of Voodoo into worshippers. This CD continues Soul Jazz's exploration of African/Latin/Brazilian connections that they have previously visited with releases such as Nu Yorica, Brasil and Santeria. Voodoo music has rarely been released in this country and all of these complex rhythms are unique to Haiti.

The second release on the promising Finish label Aural Hypnox, 'COAV' is the first album of Aeoga, a two man project from northern Finland. This sixty-five minute-long cd, features eight tracks ranging from haunting and organic dark ambient soundscapes to more atmospheric passages... with a considerable ritual/tribal touch overclouding the general atmosphere. Built upon layers of drones, other elements such as drums, cymbals, eerie guitar feedback, layers of sample, distant choirs... also take part in the richness and intensity of this record. Though Aeoga's masterminds want to keep a part of mystery surrounding their activities, the following inner note should enlighten the listeners: 'To exhaust mind and body in order to obtain a condition of non-consciousness and thus receive, realize and create material based on both primal and absent vision'... An excellent debut album that reveals a new very promising dark ambient Finish duo and that makes Aural Hypnox a label to definitely keep an ear on. The Satanic Mass was recorded on Friday the 13th in September of 1968 at the Church of Satan in San Francisco, California. This was originally released by the Murgenstrumm label in 1968, and it would mark the first time that an authentic satanic mass was presented to the masses. These recordings were made before the first Satanic Bible was published in December of 1969. The first track is the satanic mass itself. Tracks 3-7 are recitations of verses that would later be included in the Satanic Bible. Track 8, "Hymn of the Satanic Empire", alternatively known as "The Battle Hymn of the Apocalypse" is a bonus track not included with the original vinyl release.

Mz.412 are the inventors of the so called "black industrial", a dark and haunting music which mixes industrial noise, ritual ambient and black metal atmospheres. The mastermind behind this project is Henrik "Nordvargr" Björkk (often credited as Kremator, and behind music projects like Pouppée Fabrikk, Folkstorm, Hydra Head 9,Toroidh etc), aided by different people with each release. Original releases from 1989-1990 came under the name Maschinenzimmer 412.The project came back in 1995 with a little change in the name (Mz.412) and a typical black metal look (painted faces, long hair, black leather), which was later abandoned.

Sensitive Liberated Autistiks is compared in sound to an early and electronic SPK , very dark and unsettling. All instruments to be heard on this album were exclusively made from human bones and skulls by the hand of Zero Kama. They never have been used since the time of its recording, which took place at the Secret Temple of Laylah from 5th to 28th of May 1984 . Remixed at Psychonaut Studio Vienna in November 1987, and dedicated to the symbol of Laylah, meaning night and death, as well as to its numerical equivalent, Oz, a goat or unrestrained sexual force of creation, thus showing the identity of the basic two opposite forces in this generous universe of beauty and strength, in which the Lovers my find ecstasy in Pan. Who wishes to enter this world of darkness, in which the Great Goat dwelleth, may pass through the sigil of Oz given at the front of this Cover.
